The Clash X-Ray Spex TRB Steel Pulse Vintage Original RAR Temporary Hoarding April 30th 1978 Carnival Edition Large Fold Out Poster
This listing is for an copy of the Rock Against Racism (RAR) produced Temporary Hoarding newspaper that folds out into a large poster which was produced to be sold at Victoria Park, at the first Carnival Against the Nazis, that took place in Victoria Park, East London on 30th April 1978. The newspaper folds out into a superb large montage poster that features the acts taking part and anti racist quotes from the artists (credited to Rankin' Rarla). It is a great piece of socio-cultural history and an authentic, archetypal example of the punk rock aesthetic circa early 1978
Size: Folded 21cm (8.5") X 31cm (12") Unfolded: 63cm (25") x 86cm (34")
Authentication: The size, paper stock and printing method have all been assessed to guarantee this poster is an original first printing. The print type, finish and the paper stock, which is typical of RAR propaganda materials.
Condition: Very Good vintage condition. No pin holes or significant creases or tears. Some minor wear and a little discolouration on the covers which is consistent with the paper stock of this era. The folded out poster has sharp edges and white paper and displays beautifully. Please inspect the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
The newspaper/poster has been stored flat and will be sent in a strong cardboard envelope on a first class signed for service. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks delivery on international deliveries.
