Autographed poster featuring signatures from Joe Strummer, Mick Jones and Paul Simenon
This is a chance for you to grab some real punk history, now getting rarer to find following the tragic loss of the great Joe Strummer.
This poster, the freebie given away with Give 'Em Enough Rope LP, was cradled by me throughout a truly amazing gig by The Clash at the sadly now gone Village Bowl in Bournemouth (a bowling alley now..tsk). I had this poster under my jacket throughout the gig, including when I was pinned on the stage, my legs squashed by the pogoing crowd and Paul Simenon leaping up and down with his size 12's right by my head!
Anyway, I got back stage, got the autographs, had a good chat, but sadly no Topper Headon, he famously had 'done a bunk' and was later found in the early hours of the morning in a daze wandering along Bournmouth beach.
As I recall this gig was in 1978, but I maybe wrong. As you can see it is somewhat worn and has seen better days, but it is PUNK HISTORY and it's your's for the right price.
