Description
In May 1977, The Clash started their first ever UK tour. to promote their first LP which was released by CBS Records in April 77, On May 8th they played at the Electric Circus in Manchester, and this a one of the very few original promo posters for that gig, which also advertises the Clash 1st album. Approx size is impressive 39” x 30” with Slight edge creases, but in overall excellent vintage condition throughout, and this classic Clash poster would look absolutely stunning when framed.

will know that this poster has been copied many times but WITHOUT the venue blank at the bottom & also a completely different size to this original ,it has the Epic/CBS records trademark and date (1979) printed at the bottom. This is the real deal!
at the bottom portion where tour date info could/would be written to promote a specific tour date/location. Poster is in overall excellent condition with some very minor edge creasing and some water staining on the bottom blank section.
