This is the excellent debut album by the British Blues-Rock band Climax Blues Band, which was one of the many bands that came into existence during the mid to late 1960s British Blues revival, pioneered by Alexis Korner and John Mayall. The band plays a great selection of classic Blues material and some self-penned material, brilliantly executed with plenty of heartbreaking guitar solos, as expected. This album is considered as one of the classics of the British Blues-Rock releases and lost nothing of its charm in time. A must to every Blues-Rock fan!

(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded!; we grade records under the strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight)

(a)          WE GRADE THE VINYL  AS  VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS or BETTER. Some VERY LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL abrasions – mostly sleeve scuffs -  are (barely) visible, but are probably inaudible,  and do not affect visual integrity or beauty of the vinyl. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.

(b)            The record is pressed on a RELATIVELY  thick, inflexible vinyl. This is NOT a thin, flimsy ('dynaflex' type), vinyl, but not the thickest, most rigid vinyl, either.

(c)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

COVER IS VERY GOOD PLUS PLUS OR BETTER ( SOME SPOTTING ON BACK COVER)  ( SEE PHOTO !! )

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-         Cover: HAS NORMAL WEAR MINOR CORNER BUMPS AND WEAR, LIGHT KNIFE MARK AROUND PROMOTIONAL NOT FOR SALE STICKER ( some spotting on back cover ( SEE PHOTO'S !! )

Record Grade Details

• NM (Near Mint):   Our highest grade. Like new, most likely unplayed.
• VG++:   A record that has a few visual imperfections that will not affect the sound. Likely played only a handful of times or never at all. 
• VG+:   A few more surface marks than a VG++. The record has probably been played before but well taken care of and should play with very few audible imperfections.
• VG:   The record will display light surface scuffs and marks. Expect some light surface noise in parts or a few clicks or pops here and there. A VG record will play with very minimal noise and will still be quite enjoyable. We think our VG grade is conservative.
• VG-:   The record may have some deeper audible scratches. There will be some clicks and pops more consistently than that of a VG record but will play without skipping.
• G:   The record will have heavy wear, deep scratches and very apparent surface noise, clicks or pops.
• Poor:   Records with this grade should be considered unplayable.
