You are bidding on an original copy of the The Common People - Of The People By The People For The People - a rare 1969 psych rock vinyl LP Capital Records ST-266 . This is a stereo recording, 1st pressing , with green target labels.

The jacket shows slight ring, corner, and spine wear with but no other writing or stickers on it. The vinyl looks like it has never been played and still has a great shine but it does have about an 1 inch scratch on track 4 side 1 that causes a faint click on my turntable when played. The labels are clean with no marks. Please view pictures and ask me any questions you may have.  

From Red Hippie Blog: This is the only album The Common People released, in 1968. The Album is a blend between folk-pop and light psychedelia. the highlights are probably the opener "Soon There Will Be Thunder", "Take From You"and "Why Must I Be". The album features soft vocals and a very nice guitar and bass work, even though the drums are pretty monochordic.

After one of my recently won LPs was received by the winner folded in half by the USPS, I will be double boxing and putting insurance on any LP over $40 so please wait until you are invoiced to pay.
