Includes a booklet with great photos, and LP's box and booklet are in excellent shape. LP's have no scratches or fingerprints. (May have fingerprints in center, where it is spun to be cleaned)

Sidney Bechet's position in the history of jazz is firmly in place by any musical standards. But he was also the first musician to have a personal, conceptual and prosperous impact on Blue Note Records.
This Mosaic set of 6 LP"S presents the complete Blue Note works of Bechet in chronological order. Moreover, they have gone back, where available, to the original discs and washed and retransferred them. The result is a truer, more accurate sound than any previous reissue.
This collection is as complete as possible. It is likely that several performances are not included but after searching, Mosaic claims that the original disc's no longer exist. The items missing are only two, and regrettably not included here.
