Description

I have tried to show every fault with this record in the pictures, The bottom corner has a very small about of damage, shown in picture 6.
The back has a small amour of damage where there was something stuck to the cover and them removed. This has removed a small amount of the top layer of the cover, less than 2cm in length. Shown in picture 4.
On the back, bottom corner there is two small brown mark from where the was some tape or something like that, which has be removed and has left a mark. Shown in picture 3. If you look closely at this picture you will see the a small line where the edge of the fold has been bent over. This tape has also left the lightest of marks on the front face too but its so light it doesn't really she up in pictures but I thought I'd add this to the comments made about the cover.
I have never really understood why these records demanded just a high price until now. I play graded this record last night and was blown away by the sound that came out of my stereo.
Simply put. My stereo has never sounded so good and I wonder why records are not made in the same way today. The record plays lovely but I'd say it has a few a few bits of background noise which can be detected on the quiet sections of the tracks. Side two has two light single ticks in it as well. These are individual ticks one in the first track and one in the last but for a record that is 51 years old it is in great condition. Visually the record looks great, with no scratches or paper scuffs to be seen. The label is clean and in perfect condition. The inner sleeve is clean and in good condition with only the smallest amour of damage just above the clear window, a small rip about 10mm in length.
I have asked a friend who sells a lot of records to grade this record and he has said the cover is very good+ and the media is near mint or M-. He said this before I played it and I'm not too sure what to say now but I will say this again, it sound amazing and thats to someone who is not a classical music fan.
I'm happy to answer any question if I can and if you'd like to play grade it yourself you are welcome to contact me to arrange a time to listen or I may be able to send an audio file.
Postage will be free, inside the UK and it will be sent tracked and insured. Please let me know if you are thinking of buying outside of the UK and we can sort something out.
