MOSAIC Release - The Complete Pacific Jazz Live Recordings of the Chet Baker Quartet with Russ Freeman. Near Mint. Four LP boxed (clamshell) set - 12" - 33rpm - Released in 1986 by Mosaic Records -197 Strawberry Hill Avenue - Stamford, CT 06902. Six page booklet with some cool text and history. Clamshell box shows signs of shelf wear but is solid - Booklet has a 1-1/4" crease about three inches up from the bottom and is in excellent condition. Labels and LP's are near mint. Original owner - Two of the LP's have never been played.
Pacific Jazz's owner & producer Dick Bock did a beautiful job of taping the original performances and this four LP boxed set is derived from these original master tapes. There are occasional brief electronic clicks and some short splices in applause portions on some of the LP's - these were on the original master tapes and are not defects in the vinyl.
