Description

This 6 LP set is Volume 1 of a Japanese reissue series of Sarah Vaughan’s Mercury Recordings: “Great Jazz Years: 1954-1956”.  This box set includes a CD-sized booklet containing information on the selections plus a complete discography.  The reissue date on the back of the box appears to be 1985.  The set was digitally remastered and manufactured by Nippon Phonogram.  The box is in very good condition but does have a seam slip along the lower, center, front cover and there is a “cut out” slit along the lower left spine.  Otherwise, the box is intact and has no ringwear.  The records are in mint condition with no scuffs or scratches.  See the photo of the back for the contents of the records.  There are a number of previously unissued recordings in this set. Multiple records can be combined in a shipment to save on shipping costs.
