Vinyl Record Grading Scale

Sealed  Jacket sealed closed/shut  in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is" NM  Appears unplayed and will have no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. We rarely use this grade. 
VG++  This may have one or two visible imperfections, (sleeve scuffs, very light  scratches or other superficial marks) that will not affect play. VG+  Has a few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.  VG  Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.  VG-  Has a number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.  G  Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. 

All of our records are visually graded by our owner using a bright lamp and light on a well-calibrated turntable. 

NOTE:  Album Jackets (Covers), Sleeves and any inserts condition, i.e. seam splits, ring wear, tears, etc...  are noted in item condition and in the pictures. We also take multiple pictures of both Sides of the Vinyl Record & Label under bright Lights.

ALBUMS WILL BE SHIPPED IN THE PAPER  SLEEVE, LAID ON TOP OF THE ALBUM COVER, THEN PLACED IN A PLASTIC PROTECTIVE SLEEVE,THEN PAPER OR BUBBLE WRAPPED AND TAPED USING BLUE PAINTERS TAPE FOR EASE OF UNWRAPPING &  SO THERE WILL BE NO MOVEMENT  DURING SHIPPING. WE ALSO MAKE SURE THAT THIS PACKAGE IS ADEQUATELY PADDED IN THE BOX SO THAT IN WILL NOT MOVE IN THE BOX.
