It's 1967.Some of the greatest Rock bands release their debut albums. Hendrix releases Are You Experienced, Cream release Fresh Cream, The Doors release their self titled album The Doors, and The Cowsills release.... The Cowsills ? O.K, Their not really on the same level (at least not to me) but hey, it's the 60's. For sale is The Cowsills first album which includes one of their biggest hits "The Rain, The Park, and Other Things". The album cover has no rips or tears but shows it's age. there is some discoloration and some bumps and dents, remember it's 50 years old! Also the picture on the cover overlaps into the album's inner gatefold (see photo #2).I don't know if they were all like that or this was a mistake that got past quality control. The souvenir booklet is completely intact, with very little noticeable wear or discoloration. It is filled with black and white photos and the group's backstory. The inside cover contains their autographs. The inscription is "To Pam" (my sister) and is signed by Bob, John, Bill, Barry, and Barbara Cowsill. The booklet was signed backstage at a show in the late 60's. I'm sorry I have no C of A. The album itself looks pretty clean, the album sleeve is interesting. It contains pictures of other M.G.M. artists including Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs, Hank Williams, Roy Orbison, Herman's Hermits and others (see photos 8and 9). Lastly, let's not forget, The Cowsills were the inspiration for the Partridge Family Television Show.
