Capturing the raw, unhinged genesis of psychobilly, Gravest Gravy gathers previously unreleased 1977 studio sessions recorded at Memphis' legendary Ardent Studios with producer Alex Chilton. Featuring the classic founding lineup of Lux Interior, Poison Ivy, Bryan Gregory, and Nick Knox, this archival holy grail delivers ferocious, primitive garage-rock energy across early takes of tracks like "TV Set," "Can't Find My Mind," and "Rockin' Bones". Issued on the revived Vengeance Records label in partnership with Rough Trade, Piccadilly, and Monorail Music, this exclusive UK lime green vinyl pressing brings a long-shelved piece of punk rock history back to life in pristine analog sound.
2026 UK import/release by Vengeance Records, catalogs # Vengeance 678 and # VEN678G.  Limited edition (500 copies) pressed on Lime Green vinyl, exclusive to Rough Trade, Piccadilly Records and Monorail.  Recorded in October 1977 as part of the sessions that birthed The Cramps Gravest Hits.
