A good earlyish set from the European tour in support of 'Psychedelic Jungle', recorded in Holland, 12th June 1981. Feautures much of that album with a smattering of crowd favourites. Not a bad quality recording, not as good as Kizmiaz (see other listing) and does have a little snap, crackle and pop, but still very listenable. If anything I would say this is a bit lo-fi compared to other live albums, does not include quite as much of the crowd ambience, you can hear them clap but you can't smell the sweat. A good representation of the era though, vocals and instruments are all clear. Put this straight on your iPod and then file this rarity away! Not 100% certain if this is the entire gig, there are no breaks except at the encore, the set definitely finishes, I'm just not sure if the actual concert started with 'Don't Eat stuff...' -there's no fanfare or intro music.

I don't personally believe in all these pseudo 'Record Collector' gradings of records which are always BS, so let me try to give an honest appraisal of what this is:

Quality of initial recording 8/10 (a bit lo-fi)

Consistency of initial sound quality throughout 10/10 (no fading in and out)

Snap crackle and pop factor (quality of vinyl) 6.5/10 (lots, but mostly quiet ones!)

Condition of sleeve 8.5/10

Accuracy of song titles and personnel as listed on the sleeve - F, must try harder

The only other thing I can say is that I bought this in the mid 80's, and as with much of my music, I recorded it once onto cassette and have now stuck it into my iPod, so I have only played it twice.
