Description
Here for auction is a very nice example of a rare 1st UK mono pressing of Arthur Brown's 1968 LP titled "The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown" on the Polydor 'Track Record' label and with A-1/B-1 matrix stamps is a nice,early copy of this LP.
The labels are ok and have some spindle wear though not much inner ring wear and the only real issue is that a name was written and has been rubbed out,a little unsightly but the other side is fine.
The vinyl on Side one is EX+ with only slight sleeve removal marks and the audio I grade as EX++ and side two I grade as EX as there are a few lightly pressed surface marks that look worse than the way the record plays and I certainly grade the audio as EX+ and is a very entertaining listen with no noise at all hardly only heard one small tiny pop on the whole side and I took my time and listened carefully,this is a very nice playing example of a rare 1st uk press.
The glossy laminated sleeve has some issues like some small laminate creases and considerable wear to the entrance to the sleeve and a small slit mid way along but has no writing and all the lettering is in tact along the spine and grade as VG.
The poly lined inner still has its liner intact and has some creasing and yellowing and a split down one side I think to access the record and grade as G+
