Description
Referred to by Jimi Hendrix as “The Cream”, this is a the (now out of print) Box Set containing the sum of their releases in one beautiful slipcase/outer box. All contents are Brand New with the original shrink wrap still intact and opened on one end allowing removal of the contents (please see provided photos for your condition concerns).
Put it in whatever genre you want, the music recorded by Cream is plain and simple TRUE CLASSIC ROCK in the strongest sense of the word. Exceptional musicianship is an understatement when trying to describe this first Rock Supergroup. Their run was like a comet in the history of recorded music maybe more than any other group of musicians. Short, bright, awesome and unforgettable.
All the included albums are faithfully constructed with all the usual “original artwork” claim and they’re great but it’s the vinyl that is the guts of this set. All beautifully pressed at 180grams with stellar sound (another great Back to Black pressing). None of the records in this listing have been played and are being described from a second set I listen to so they are all virgin vinyl ready for their very first play. Nothing more to add, you know what you’re getting with this bunch. Bam, bang, boom, whoo.
As always with any box sets I pass on, a new outer plastic sleeve will be included. I usually transfer any “hype” stickers onto it from the original shrinks but left the shrink on in this case (but I will include the sleeve).
Selling a big part of my personal collection accrued over 5 decades. Will be listing a few auctions a week. Many very rare BEATLES pressings among many OTHER artists. Please check in from time to time and see what Rarities and odd pressing I’ve listed from this extensive collection.
