Description

This one is seriously rare, an original 1989 Australian 1st press of The Cruel Sea's first album. Unlike the more common 1990 EU reissue this is the only version with the original artwork and it has only NINE (not eleven) tracks.

Released by Red Eye Records, manufactured in Australia. Groove notations: "Between the devil and the deep blue sea" // "What happened to the Reprise" Comes with glossy psych innersleeve, "Sgt Pepper" style.

A great copy with the glossy cover in Near Mint condition. The vinyl is also fantastic; the only flaw is that the label on Side One was glued to the record off center - see picture. Since it doesn't reach the playing surface only parts of the deadwax this doesn't affect the playability. The last song ends, the stylus lifts off. Like always.
