Description
For your consideration is a promo copy of Your Land of Love/Suicidal Flowers, Cobblestone Records CB 730 in generic sleeve. Released in 1969, this was the last of two releases by the Crystal Chandelier. The appearance of “Suicidal Flowers” on the third volume of Pebbles approximately ten years later helped give this masterpiece the recognition it deserved, but never got, back in its own time.
Visual Grading: I’m no pro, but I don’t have to be one to see that neither side has any scratches or scuffs; the disc looks NM. The labels are close to NM as well. Look at what appears to be light wear at the top of the label on the “Your Land of Love” side. If not NM, then it’s the higher side of VG+, which Goldmine says is VG++ or E+.
Play grading: some noise in the dead wax on both sides. Nothing that my ears can hear in the music. If you think that dead wax noise disqualifies a record from NM, the you’re looking at VG++/E+, in my opinion. Unfortunately, eBay doesn't have a VG++ selector box so I can't tick it off. Please check out the attached video for a watch/listen to get your own idea.
