THE CRYSTALS - SING THE GREATEST HITS VOL. 1 (the only Philles Crystals LP I know of). This is the ORIGINAL pressing of this magnificent collection of THE CRYSTALS' greatest hits, with the original pale blue label. I believe this was only made for maybe a year, certainly no more than that. This record is extremely rare, and it's all but impossible to find in the condition of the one I am selling. This has the Crystals' most important songs.

This record is in rare condition. I would describe the jacket as VERY GOOD. There is very, very minor ring wear on the top of the front cover, and slight wear in a few other places, but nothing too substantial. The back is even cleaner, with almost no wear to be seen, and only a few spots here and there from dust/dirt or whatever. The spine looks perfect, with the entire label readable - no wear whatsoever. None of the seams show the slightest indication of splitting anytime in the near future, although the bottom seam has visible wear. There is no writing anywhere on this jacket, except for "3.98" written extremely lightly in pencil in the upper left hand corner on the back. I never even noticed it until today.
The record hasn't fared quite as well over the years, but I would still describe it as VERY GOOD -, or at the very least, GOOD++++. Like any record that's over 40 years old, this has multiple, light/minor scuffs and scratches on both sides of the record. I was very surprised to find the record in such clean condition. The only significant problem is a fairly long scratch on the back, but again, this is a very light one, and doesn't greatly affect the playing. I have listened to this record, and it does not have any excessive amount of surface noise. This is an extremely full and warm-sounding mix, and will greatly please the ears of any audiophile. The pale blue label looks brand new, with no wear to be seen.
