Description
Crank up the volume with this outstanding original UK first-press copy of The Cult's definitive 1987 album, Electric. Produced by the legendary Rick Rubin, this record marked a monumental shift for the band, discarding their earlier gothic rock textures in favor of a raw, stripped-down, AC/DC-infused hard rock swagger. From the ferocious opening chords of "Wild Flower" to their explosive interpretation of "Born To Be Wild," this album delivers non-stop guitar riffs courtesy of Billy Duffy and soaring rock vocals from Ian Astbury. Hearing Rick Rubin’s bone-dry, hard-hitting drum production on this original analog pressing is an absolute revelation compared to compressed digital streams.
