Catalog number: fm 300-2 on Backsleeve Matrix / Runout (Side A (Engraved)): HEAD/C Matrix / Runout (Side B (Engraved)): HEAD/D
Extremely rare yellow vinyl bootleg of The Cure recorded live at the height of their career in West Berlin, December 2nd, 1985. This record covers the second half of the concert, the first half being released separately under the title "Sorry Robert, We Can't Stop This Fucking Taping" which I also have for sale (please see my other items). These Bootlegs were transferred to vinyl in Switzerland in very small quantities and are almost impossible to find these days. They have been in my collection for thirty years and have hardly been played in all that time. The condition as you would expect is therefore extremely good. However they have been played - the labels show a few spindle marks and there are just a couple of the lightest possible surface scratches which I can just about see under the very bright (300 lumens) lightbulb that I have in my listening room. Nevertheless, I would rate these as collector quality and would expect them to be of great interest to any Cure fanatic. Due to the scarcity of this item, I have listed it with a reserve price below which it will not sell. However, as I expect both records to go to the same bidder, I will of course combine shipping. They will be sent from Madrid, Spain by registered mail with tracking and signature upon delivery within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I will also pay for extra postal insurance myself due to their high value.
