Description

I am doing a few different record drops in the coming weeks. The first drop offers indie/alternative/punk/new wave records from the 70s to the 90s. I have tons of first pressings from groups such as The Smiths, Joy Division / New Order, Bauhaus, The Cure, Gang of Four, Jawbreaker and many others. I also have a US first press of the Melvins’ Houdini. Lots of amazing and classic records for sale. Good luck with the bids!

Press Info: 1st UK Press


Vinyl Grade: VG/VG- 

          The record looks a lower VG- as there are many hairlines and some marks. The record plays way better than it looks. Most of it conservatively played VG and had VG+ moments. I did catch a feelable scratch on S1 at the last bit of T2 and into T3. A small pop noise can be heard but harder to pick up on the louder moments. Sounds really nice considering.


Cover Grade: VG+ 

Some light seam wear and crease lines but looks fairly nice


Inner has some crinkling. One side has a middle seam split of approx 4in and one side is about 2 maybe 2.5in.  


*All records will include a new inner sleeve and plastic outer sleeve

GRADING SCALE: 

(Records are graded from sight)

SEALED / MINT - Record jacket is sealed. Disc is sold ?as-is.?

NM - Super clean record with basically no imperfections. Appears unplayed or barely played at all. I’d use this rating infrequently

EX - Basically either spotless visually or sounds extremely clean. 

VG++ - Has extremely few light marks. Very clean

VG+ - Has some imperfections, such as hairlines or scuff, but looks clean and plays well

VG - Similar to VG+ but has more imperfections. Records VG and up will not typically have any scratches deep enough to be felt. 

VG- - Fair amount of imperfections or scratches that may affect playability. 

VG-- - Plethora of scratches scattered throughout. Literally scratches/hairlines everywhere.

G - Imperfections and scratches throughout including scratches that cause playback issues and can be felt. 


*These records were only visually graded!! I do at times give them a quick listen so that I can give you an idea of the item you arre receiving I will mention in the description if I gave the record a quick listen


**I dont grade records considering the spindle marks. I might not even mention it but if it catches my eye I will mention so. If that is an issue for you, ask ahead of time.
