It's a shame ... We are dissolving our record collection with many treasures. These records are in pristine condition and we bought them NEW. Since we also have everything on CD, the records were not played, all purely collector's items. The covers are not pasted, labeled and in an unused condition.

* Near Mint (NM oder M-)
An almost perfect record. There is a high probability that an NM or M disk was never played. During playback, the record plays perfectly and without any background noise. Many dealers do not use ratings higher than NM on the (perhaps correct) assumption that no record can ever really be in perfect condition. The record should not show any visible signs of use. The cover of a single or EP should at best show the slightest signs of wear and tear, as they occur with minimal use. The cover of an LP should not be bumped, have kinks or seam splits, or have punched or sawn markings and similar obvious defects. The same applies to any inserts such as posters, printed inner sleeves, etc.
Eine fast perfekte Schallplatte. Eine NM oder M- Platte wurde mit großer Wahrscheinlichkeit nie abgespielt. Bei Wiedergabe spielt die Schallplatte perfekt und ohne Nebengeräusche. Viele Händler verwenden keine höheren Bewertungen als NM in der (vielleicht zutreffenden) Annahme, dass keine Schallplatte jemals wirklich in einem perfekten Zustand sein kann. Die Schallplatte sollte keine sichtbaren Gebrauchsspuren aufweisen. Die Hülle einer Single oder EP sollte allenfalls geringste Abnutzungsspuren, so wie sie bei minimalstem Gebrauch entstehen, aufweisen. Die Hülle einer LP sollte weder angestoßen sein noch Knicke oder Seam-Splits aufweisen oder gestanzte bzw. gesägte Markierungen und ähnliche augenscheinliche Defekte besitzen. Dasselbe gilt auch für jegliche Beilagen wie Poster, bedruckte Innenhüllen usw.
