Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
LPs are VG with some light paper scuffs on sides 3 & 4 and cover is a very nice VG+ with just a bit of ring. Includes original printed inner sleeves with complete lyrics. Now for the real reason you're reading this. A pair of insanely rare original Elektra/Asylum two-sided 12" X 12" in-store promotional displays from 1987 in absolutely beautiful condition. These were purchased from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager who told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Staff saw them as disposable swag and as a result VERY few survived from the 80s. She was a huge Cure fan and decided to save a couple from the wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive). These are rare as hens teeth and chances of seeing another pair like these are slim to none. Don't sleep. This will most likely be your only chance to ever own a pair of these. These are SERIOUS current and future Cure collectables.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
