The Cure Lament Flexi Disc + Original Flexipop Magazine

In all my years of collecting Cure memorabilia, this is probably one of the rarest items I've ever had in my possession. This is the red version of the flexi disc version of "Lament" that was given away free with Flexipop magazine in 1982. (Issue No. 22) These are very hard to find even in the more common green color, and usually sell for about $35 each without the magazine. The one I have for sale is the rarely seen Red version, complete with the original magazine. What makes it even more of a collector's item is the fact that this flexi disc is actually a misprint, and does not have any print on it!

There are no articles or interviews with The Cure in this mag, just the red banner on the top left corner of the cover that says "Free CURE Flexi Recorded Exclusively For Flexipop." There is a piece of tape on the cover where the flexi disc was originally attached. Otherwise it is in excellent condition with very minimal wear. The disc has a few scuff marks on the non-recorded side, but the recorded side looks very clean. I've never actually played this, but visually graded, I would say it is in VG++ condition.

I've never seen another red Lament flexi for sale. I've never seen any color Lament flexi for sale with the original magazine. And I've never even seen or heard of another misprinted copy. I have no idea what this is worth.

To make things more interesting, I will... *gulp* ...start the bidding at 99 cents. (and pray this doesn't cause me to have a heart attack before it's done.)

It is part of the inventory of a store specializing in Cure Memorabilia that went out of business in 2004.
