Description
The Cure Wish Double Vinyl, Great Condition.
This seminal record was bought from new. It is a first pressing.
The outer packaging has a few scuffs, I have included photos of the damage which is pretty superficial. There are no stains or marks, just usual handling imperfections.
My father-in-law has recently cleaned the records with his professional-standard "Moth" record cleaner and provided two anti-static audiophile sleeves. I have played it once for testing and it sounds superb! The only real hiss and rumble was on the run in tracks on sides a and c., not on the tracks themselves except maybe a barely percept able crackle on side d. 2.
Unfortunately there's one scratch, on side a. 3. On the end of the fade of the song, Apart. The main upshot is that those with automatic turntables will have to manually return the tone-arm.
There is a flaw in the package is a small rip in the sheet with The Cure's back-catalogue (pictured). I have no idea how this happened but still...
It's a superb album and I am sad too see it go,but needs must....maybe someone else can love it too x
