Description
This is the first German pressing of the classic "Boys Don't Cry" album by The Cure. The album was the first album by the band to be released in the USA and featured many of the songs from the earlier "Three Imaginary Boys" released in the UK.
Boy's Don't Cry was released in February 1980 in the USA and simultaneously in Canada, Australia and Germany. The first UK release (SPELP 26) is a re-release which came out in 1983, three years later. Copies of the UK re-release sell of upwards of £30. The front cover of the re-release is different as it has an area of light blue colour in the top left of the front cover, where as the original pressing does not. This album is priced to reflect both its rarity as a first pressing and its condition.
This record has been well looked after and the vinyl is in pretty close to immaculate condition for being 40 years old. No scratches or bumps and very little background static.

I have been the owner since new. Only selling as I have the UK re-issue as well so will keep that version.
