PTOOFF! - The Deviants (Underground Impresarios IMP 1) UK 1967? – no date on record, original issue.
Wiki: “With the financial backing of Nigel Samuel, the 21-year-old son of a millionaire, whom Mick Farren had befriended, the group independently recorded their debut album Ptooff!, selling copies through the UK Underground press before it was picked up by Decca Records”.
Fold out sleeve: Nice flat clean and tidy condition, some rubbing to edge of fold and some small tears on the folds at middle points (see scan), nothing major. “APSARAS” Copyright 1968 Kensho & Kipps art work on inside cover.
Record: IMPS 001 A-1 & B-1 Spindle hole still sharp both sides, labels look fine, no blemishes or print lifting. Visually both sides shiny, some surface scratches seen in the light but nothing deep. Plays really well, no jumps or nasty crackles, the minor odd pop here and there. “Child of the Sky” – which is the really quiet track played well.
