OK, yyou classic Rock fans, this is a rare opportunity to own a rare, really unique bit of vinyl from the 1960's! Yup, it's
THE DOORS
self-titled debut album in mono! Better yet, it's a copy of the mono album in a stereo cover, affixed with a "MONO" sticker. Everything here is original and in near mint shape. No, I'm not a professional record dealer, so I don't know the finer rating points but I will tell you this:
Cover still has it's original shrinkwrap, although it's not complete. But it has kept the cover in pristine condition - virtually NO ring wear. Cover is super clean and fully intact - no splits, etc. The only flaws are a couple of small chips along the open edge. The record itself is in fantastic shape - clean, shiiny and virtually no wear. Looks like it did when it first came from the store - The only flaw on the vinyl I can see is a very light bit of surface wear, not a scratch really - much lighter (and there's only one that I can see). It's in absolutely exemplary shape. The original sleeve is here, no splits there either.
I don't know what more I can say about it but that finding the mono album in the stereo cover, with mono sticker is every rare indeed. Check the photos if you don't believe me.
