A truly superb condition copy of this 1968 UK 1st press Doors classic

Gleaming, jet black sheen, weighty and completely flat vinyl - excellent plus (EX+) condition - in normal daylight there is not a mark in sight and it is only with very close inspection and the vinyl tilted to the right angle that just a couple of very, very light paper scuffs come into view on each side - purely superficial, not impinging upon the superb stereo sound quality at all and such impressive condition for a record that is now 55 years of age! Combined with the fact that both labels are pristine apart from just a few very small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each, it strongly suggests that this record has been sparingly played. The iconic non-laminated outer gatefold sleeve is in excellent (EX) condition. Firm edges with just a few intermittent, very light and non-obvious scuff marks on the top and bottom edges, near perfectly defined right angled corners with minimal rubbing on each, a rigid spine with all spine text perfectly intact, firm opening edges with no fraying, no cardboard creasing, and all art work, photos, and text retaining perfect clarity, original colour vibrancy and in great condition still. The inside of the gatefold is excellent with the only blemish being a few small and light handling/storage marks on the left hand side top and bottom flipbacks (very trivial). The stereo sound quality is truly near mint (NM) - no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, clicks, interference, distortion or background crackle. This record plays as well as it did on the first day it was purchased with great tone and crystal clear vocals and instrumentation, and every track remaining a great listen. The original plain white inner sleeve with correct "PATENT APPLIED FOR" and "MADE IN ENGLAND" text remains in excellent plus (EX+) condition - no seam splits, no edge fraying or tears, no age discolouration, and barely any creasing. Note that the record will be posted inside a new poly-lined white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.
A brilliant copy of this 1968 Doors classic with the superb stereo sound quality being a true highlight. POSTAGE COSTS :

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
