Description
For sale is a rare original mono UK pressing (Columbia EMI 33SX 1658) of The Downliners Sect's classic 1964 album THE SECT. The labels are black with "Columbia" written in blue print above the spindle hole. The labels also state "Sold in the U.K." in white print above the spindle hole. The cover was manufactured by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London. If there is anything you would like me to note, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will do my best to describe the record for you.
If you are looking at this auction, you probably already know that THE SECT is one of the greatest rock 'n roll records of the Sixties. Here's a listing of the amazing tracks contained on the album:

On a grading scale of M-, EX, VG+, VG, G, and P the condition of this album is as follows:
The Cover is EX. There is a small, original price sticker on the front cover. There are absolutely no split seams, tears or writing. The record is still housed in its original 'Emitex' inner sleeve.
The Disc is VG. The rare record plays without any skips, jumps or repeats.
The LP was purchased in England.
