The Damned Black Album Original Promo Sampler LP Rare





The Damned's Classic 1980 The Black Album Original UK White Label Promotional Sampler LP On Chiswick Records. From 1980, Only A Handful Were Pressed, It's Mega Rare And Totally Genuine. This Unique Item Comprises One Album Fearturing Selections From Both Albums And Should Not Be Confused With the Second Single Album Pressing Of The Black Album, Which Was The First Two Sides From The Original Standard Double LP Issue.

A Mix From The Studio Tracks, Live Tracks And Curtain Call. The First Four Tracks On Side One Are From The First LP (From The Original Standard Double LP Issue), Except Lively Arts Has A Slightly Different Intro Than The Standard Pressings. Tracks Five And Six Are From The Live Side Except Love Song Has A Longer Background Intro Where You Can Hear Vanian Speaking. The B-Side Is Curtain Call.

The Record Comes In It's Original White Sleeve, With The Top Corners Angled For Some Reason, And Damned Hand Written In Black Marker, The Record Has It's Original White Labels, With Damned Hand Written On The B-Side Label. The Matrix Reads DAM-1-A LYN-8759 MAX, DAM-1-B LYN-8760 MAX.

Condition:
Record: VG++/EX-. Being Highly Critical The Vinyl Has Fine Surface Marks From Having Been Removed From The Sleeve And Spindle Marks, But No Scratches.
Sleeve: EX (Light Creasing Bottom Left, Slight Edgewear Wear.)
