Condition: I am not an expert in record grading, but I would say that the record and sleeve are in very good condition. The sleeve has shelf wear and was obviously taken to a gig to be autographed. The vinyl looks very good to me.
First issue copy of The Damned's first album with the 'error' photo of Eddie and the Hot Rods 'mistakenly' printed on the reverse, complete with erratum sticker. I bought this in the very early eighties, which explains the line up for the autographes: the person I got this from had it autographed at a then 'recent' gig, which would be right for the Paul Gray line-up. This would explain his 'autograph' being a comment on, what I assume, is his own picture in the Hot Rods photograph. An interesting item.
I have a few thousand records from the late seventies and early eighties (plus some punk from the 1990's) that, due to lack of space and redundancy, I will be selling in the coming months (or more likely years the way it's going!), including a lot of punk and new wave stuff.
Postage for:
PLEASE NOTE: As of April 30th 2012 the Royal Mail increased their charges by a substantial amount, the prices below reflect those large increases, which unfortunately, are beyond my control.
Inland: Records will be posted First Class Recorded Delivery and packaged in card mailers with cardboard stiffeners. Postage for 1 or 2 records will be: £4.15p (which includes the cost of the packing @ 50p per mailer), for more than two records I will get them weighed before invoicing to ensure the correct postage. Please remember double albums count as two records.
Western Europe: Airmail to Europe is now: £5.32p (postage is £4.82 plus 50p packing/mailer). For more than one record please wait for an invoice as I will get the items weighed for the correct postage. Records can be sent by 'International Signed For' delivery rate, but this is approximately an extra £5.15p on top of the airmail postage.
USA & the rest of the world (except South America):
Airmail to the USA single record is £8.48p.
Airmail to Australia is £8.76p.
Airmail to Japan is £8.48p.
All the above rates include 50p for packing (card mailer & stiffeners).
For elsewhere (and USA, Australia and Japan for more than one item) please let me know when you have finished bidding, I will then get your item/s weighed before invoicing for the correct postage.
IMPORTANT NOTE: South America: Unfortunately due to problems with deliveries to these countries going missing, I will only ship by International Signed For Delivery, and I recommend this service for any items posted outside the European Union.
I cannot be held responsible for items when consigned to the mercies of the worlds postal systems, and would prefer people to use International Signed for delivery, but any problems, please contact me first. I don't like being ripped off, and I do not do it to other people.
