Description
This is a 1st press 1977 UK punk classic – ‘Damned Damned Damned’ by The Damned.
A group that is very much overshadowed by The Sex Pistols in their importance in influencing punk in popular culture, they were actually the first British punk group to release both a single, an album, and to tour the U.S.
‘New Rose’ (the single) is an all time classic – and they also went on to influence the ‘gothic’ rock movement in the 80’s!
This copy is ‘Excellent’ in all senses; I’ve seen these called NM. Maybe some tiny creasing on the opening-edge and some sleeve removal marks but that’s it if anything.
This is a brilliant example of a desirable UK 1st pressing, so grab a Stiff classic on vinyl!

This is a collection being sold on behalf of a client, whom has been collecting some 50 years. It includes many 1stowner and 1st pressing items - the majority of which are EX condition records in EX/VG+ graded sleeves due to spine wear; having been stored on a shelf without plastic sleeving.
I operate the online-sales arm of a UK record shop and therefore aim to ensure accuracy in grading – I visually grade unless I can feel a mark which warrants further play-testing.
Many of the discs themselves only have very minor marks, but do have groove buildup due to not having been out in years - while I have hand-cleaned with Isopropyl solution and a microfibre (and then tested where needed), some have resulting minor background crackle and really would sound fantastic with a further session on a professional cleaning machine!
Starting-prices have been chosen competitively given Discogs and Popsike, and items will be safely packaged for postage; with discs firstly decanted into new separate inners, that inner and the sleeve then being placed in a new plastic outer sleeve and then shipped using professional grade record-mailers.
