Description

This is an incredibly rare Damned original 7" New Rose/Help fully signed by the four members of the band in person at two separate events. The sleeve is excellent condition with wear to edges and opening but all age related and nice and original. The back sleeve is really excellent with none of the ringwear that you get on most copies I have had over the years. The vinyl is near mint no scratches clicks and plays perfect looks almost unplayed infact.

Solid center. Small curved cut out on back cover. Narrow side edges so no 'Delga' credit. Identical to The Damned - 
New Rose Original but this version has a serrated ridge. Same label as the Original Issue (mint)

This copy of the 7" is the rarer 1978 issue with the serrated edge around the label there are no others for sale either on ebay or discogs it is very very rare and of course has the signatures obtained by The Entertaining Mr Sloan, probably the leader in autographed rock memorabilia in the country, he has provided a photo of the signing and COA with lifetime guarantee but I have several signed Damned items and these signatures are 100% genuine, they are in blue sharpie and maybe need to be seen closer to do justice as the dark background hides a little but they are very clear and each band member has signed next to his image.  Brian & Rat signed at Bristol in March 2012 and Dave & Captain at the Coal Exchange in 2012. I have had this in my personal collection for some time but the time has come to raise funds so it has to go. No reserve and a low start, I think we all know what this is potentially worth, sent well packed and recorded next day, If your in Essex (SS6) pick up is fine or I may be able to deliver close by or possibly parts of London (NW3, N4, CR0) but please ask before bidding. I have listed as not sending abroad but if you have bought from me before feel free to ask the question, sending outside Europe is starting to get a little risky, I am sure you understand.
