The Damned - Smash It Up / Burglar A-label Promo Copy
Double Whammy...along with the rare DJ edit of IJCBHT that I've also just listed, this is one of the jewels in my punk record collection!
It's the extremely rare 'A-label' promo version of 'Smash It Up' / 'Burglar' by The Damned.
Perhaps the rarest of the Chiswick A-label records (yeah, I know...History of The World...and all that...I need proof!!), there aren't many of these beauties knocking about, especially in this condition.
Condition: EX++ This copy is in absolutely spankingly great condition. It looks superb, it plays brilliantly. But for the manufacturing flaw whereby there are a few air bubbles under the record label around the central hole (see close-up picture), I'd say the record is pretty much flawless. The vinyl looks unplayed, although I've played it once to check its credentials. There are no crackles, pops or rumbles - it sounds fantastic!
The standard record sleeve is in excellent condition too, save for some minor ring wear, but it's the record that's the thing here!

This would be a really brilliant 'upgrade' copy for your collection. My description of it is fair and accurate in my opinion.
Damned rarities as good as this are hard to come by, so what are you waiting for...?
