Very Very Rare Book - 96 pages - In tatty but complete condition
Carol Clerk's official biography of The Damned, The Light at the End of the Tunnel, is a collection of the most comprehensive information one will find about this amazingly original and humourous band. Despite the lack of Dave Vanian's cooperation, we still get a very clear picture of his as well as the other personalities of The Damned's members. The time frame of this biography takes us from 1974, when Captain Sensible and Rat Scabies first meet until the release of the album, Anything in 1987. Their career, thus far, covers all there challenges faced as musicians relating to one another within the band, with record companies and to put out material reflecting their musical tastes and integrity. Highly entertaining, it covers all their jokes on each another, as well as upon anyone involved who dared work with them.
Item is complete but in dog-eared vintage used condition with obvious signs of age, use, marks and wear. Some pages are have been stuck back in with clear tape. On the back cover some of the band faces have been de-faced. Overall very tatty but perfectly readable. Please see pictures for condition before purchase, thank you
