Description

I must admit it’s with a slightly heavy heart that I sold my copy of The Clash’s Capital Radio EP last week and now it’s the turn of The Damned’s fabulous debut single ‘New Rose/Help’.

Released in October 1976 you will all know it’s the first punk single and what a blast it is,even today,43 years later, it still sounds amazing.

My copy is the second pressing with the ‘Rock Music Co.Ltd,Street Music Co.’ credit ,push out centre and it has the following in the run out grooves:

IS THIS A RECORD? BILBO BOPPA ! on side 1 and on side 2: DAMNED BEATLES BILBO MASTER ROOM.

The vinyl has been cleaned in the past and I can’t see any scratches on it anywhere,the sleeve is in excellent condition really considering how old it is now.

It isn’t split anywhere or damaged, it just looks very slightly aged....which of course it is...

A fabulous and important UK 7” single!!.
