Description
This listing is for a 1973 reissue of Pink Floyd's iconic album "The Dark Side Of The Moon" on vinyl, specifically the second US press on the Harvest SMAS-11163 label. The record is a 12" LP with a black color and is in very good condition, both the record and the sleeve. This edition is in stereo format and contains progressive rock and psychedelic rock music from the 1970s, making it a valuable addition to any vinyl record collection.
NOTES:
We have for you here a second US press DOTM from 1973, with postcards and BOTH posters, which is getting hard to find.
Outer Sleeve: typical wear with small scuffs on the covers but no splits or other major defects.
Vinyl: I rate this in the upper range of VG (SVG) with some scuffs and light scratches. If there were one or two fewer per side I would call this VG+. Happily, none of its visual defects have affected the sound. It sounds as it should, clean and clear. very light static on the runouts at the beginning and and 2-3 very quiet parts. But there’s nothing that competes with the sound , let alone overshadows it. Thus, the SVG grade.
Both posters are included. The black one is very clean with white borders and few if any signs of being opened.
The green one has more wear and some staining. Please see the pics. But there are no tears. There is a corner wrinkle (pictured) which you could probably flatten out with some time under a heavy book.
