Dave Brubeck and Jay & Kai at the Newport Jazz Festival - 1956 Columbia Records # CL-932 (MONO) // DISC:VG-/G+ with a lot of hairlines and scratches to the surface, audio is still very enjoyable and mostly clean, some light background noise throughout. Some audible clicks throughout etc  // COVER: GOOD with the entire bottom spine of the cover completely torn the whole length of the bottom. Some light ring wear with presentable artwork otherwise. Original inner sleeve with splits creases etc. 
Bernstein Plays Brubeck Plays Bernstein - 1961 Columbia Records # CS-8257 (Stereo) // DISC: VG with a few notable scuffs etc, one small notable scratch "nick" to side 1 track 4 that will produce some audible ticks for about 15 seconds. Side 2 track 5 has a few scuffs that produce some light background noise. The audio is bold and clean, very enjoyable. Well kept presentable disc.  // COVER: VG with some notable Chip Splits to the Title spine, therefore the title is Not legible. Clean artwork with minimal fade or ring wear. Some light shelf wear, spines are 90% intact. 
The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out - 1959 Columbia Records # CS-8192 (Stereo) // DISC: VG with a few notable scratches, super clean otherwise. There is some light background noise throughout, a few occasional audible "pop"s, audio is super bold.   // COVER: GOOD with a 5 inch seem split on the top spines, some chip splits to the title spine, making it NOT legible. Bottom spine is solid. Art is clean, still has gloss. Some light fade. Pressing Plant #1, back cover. 
The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Further Out - 1961 Columbia Records # CS-8490 (Stereo) // DISC: VG with a few sections that have some audible clicks, but overall the audio is a stunner. Super loud bold and clean. Despite the cosmetic appearance the audio is clean.    // COVER: VG-/G+ with a 1 inch split on the top spine (middle) from a poke through of the vinyl. Some chips splits to the title spine, making it not legible. Some light fade and ring wear, decent art otherwise. 
The Dave Brubeck Quartet in Europe - 1958 Columbia Records # CL-1168 (MONO) // DISC: VG with a few notable scuffs and scratches, very well kept, surface is still clean. Audio is super bold and pronounced  // COVER: GOOD with a 4 inch split on the top and bottom spines by the mouth, some longer chips splits to the title spine side, making it NOT legible. Some minor peel off to the front cover, middle. Artwork is decent otherwise. 
The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Jazz Goes to Junior College - 1958 Columbia Records # CL-1034 (MONO) // DISC: FAIR the disc has a lot of scratches and groove wear, I heard a couple skips when playing. Audio is super bold. Just including it to keep the album with it's brothers and sisters. Keep the group together  // COVER: VG with all spines intact, some fade and ring wear to the cover. Some minor corner bumps, etc. Good survivor copy.
Dave Brubeck at Storyville: 1954 - 1954 Columbia Records # CL-590 (MONO) // DISC: GOOD with some notable static background noise throughout playback, some chatter and clicks throughout as well. Audio is still enjoyable. Cool live show.  // COVER: VG with some very light chip fray to the title spine in places, spines are 95% intact. The cover has some light fade and ring wear. 
The Dave Brubeck Quartet - JAZZ: Red Hot and Cool - 1955 Columbia Records # CL-699 (MONO) // DISC: FAIR a well played disc with lots of groove wear, audio is still surprisingly bold and brilliant. This is my favorite Brubeck album. I heard a skip or two during playback.  // COVER: GOOD - with the entire TOP spine split the the entire length of the cover. A big 12 inch crease going parallel to the mouth, on the front cover, see pictures. Title spine is split about 5 inches, NOT legible. Bottom spine is split about a total of 3 inches, just broken up into sections.

NM (NEAR MINT) with a couple or less light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some extremely minor groove wear from play. Almost all of original luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very very light (minimal) background noise throughout playback with mostly clean bold audio. Some very extremely minor occasional faint crackles, if any at all. Basically just opened out of shrink wrap. I hardly ever had this grade out, unless record truly deserves it. All other ebayers who claim NM, really have a EX(VG++) copy or less. Seriously only 3% or less of all vintage vinyl ever produced is still this clean!

EX(VG++) with just a few light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, possibly some paper scuffs, some minimal groove wear from repeat play. Most of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light background noise occasionally during playback with mostly clean bold audio. Any background noise will be heard during quiet passes, in between tracks, and on intro and dead waxes.

VG+ with several light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides (could be larger or thicker hairs or scratches, audio quality is most important), some moderate groove wear from play. Some of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light (to moderate) static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play, abused repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant much louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Constant louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Music maybe overpowered by background noise during some or all tracks. Close to the scrape heap, but still has some life.

COVER GRADING CHART:

NM (NEAR MINT) with NO to light fade and NO ring wear. No evidence of creases or light scrape marks around cover art from handling. NO corner bends. All spines are crisp and intact with NO shelf wear fray, title spine perfectly clean and legible with NO fray patches and wear. I hardly ever hand this grade out, reserved for any vintage vinyl cover that is still in almost perfect shape!

EX(VG++) with minimal fade or ring wear. Some very light creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some very minor corner bends. All spines are mostly 100% intact with minimal shelf wear fray, title spine mostly clean and legible with no, to very minor, fray patches and wear.

VG+ with light fade and light to moderate ring wear. Some creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some minor corner bends. All spines are mostly 100% intact with no, to very minimal, shelf wear fray, title spine mostly legible with no, to very minimal, fray patches and wear.

VG =  with light to moderate fade and moderate ring wear. Some to many creases and light scrape marks around cover art from handling, some corner bends. All spines are mostly 90% of better intact with shelf wear fray, title spine mostly legible with some to moderate fray patches and wear. Some variance of these conditions, see individual listings.
