Rare original copy. The vinyl is in wonderful VG+ condition. Played it once to confirm and it has been back in its inner sleeve and cover since. Record has promo stamp on both label sides (see pix). No reserve.
One of the more unique albums on the Strata East label. A classic album originally released in 1974. The music on A Spirit Speaks is a treasure trove of classical African-American music. It is a unique blend of heart moving, soul stirring spirituals, blues, and jazz with layers of beautiful operatic vocals.

Didn't write the text above in the description, cut and pasted from others, but did pull out a random album to play after recently alphabetizing my record collection. That album was this one. Put it on the turntable without reading the cover or tracklist and was impressed by the musicianship and range of approaches to music in the album. After enjoying the record I researched on eBay and saw that this is a desired record for others who know more than I do. As well it should be. Here's an opportunity to purchase an interesting album. Not currently looking to downsize my 10 thousand album collection but want to offer this up.
