Vinyl

The LP is clean in appearance, with only minimal signs of play, including a few faint spindle marks on both labels. When the record is examined carefully under bright light, a faint hairline scratch can be seen across the first third of Somewhere To Go. It is non-feelable and cosmetic as far as I can tell since it does not 'sound' or produce 'clicks'.

Side 1 has occasional light crackle and static at the start of play and a short way into the first song.
Side 2 has very brief surface noise - including a brief 'pop' - at the start of play.

However, I would grade the LP between VG++ and NM overall.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would grade the vinyl as at least 8/10 overall, if not better. The music is generally well to the forefront throughout play and the sound is punchy, full bodied and dynamic on this pressing.

LP plays right through on both sides without 'sticks', 'skips' or 'jumps'.

Cover

Unfortunately, the cover is not in the same well cared-for condition that the record itself is.

The cover grades as Poor-verging-on-Fair or as Fair-verging-on-Poor, depending on your criteria.

It has significant edge wear and there are noticeable seam splits at the top and bottom edges closest to

the opening. Please see photos.

The top and bottom seams have also been partially repaired with sellotape. Please see photos.

There is pronounced corner wear to many of the corners. Please see photos.

There is some discolouration to the inside of the thick gatefold cover.

Although the spine is intact, all the writing on the spine is not clearly legible anymore.

In terms of its general appearance, the cover has signs of wear, markings and scratches and shows signs of its age.
However, despite all flaws mentioned above, the cover is still functional and the images on the back and front still look good.

No writing on the back or front of the cover; no writing on the inside of the gatefold.
