RARE - 45 rpm record
Genre: Garage Rock / Blues
Year: 1967
Incredibly rare and incredible sounding garage rock 45. This one rarely comes up for sale rarely, and I am reluctant to part with it…but here it goes!
Side A is a cover of Willie Dixon’s “I Just Wanna Make Love ” Side B is a rocking performance of “Hey Joe” made famous by Jimi Hendrix, but also covered by Wilson Pickett, The Leaves, The Searchers, and the Shadows of Knight among others. This version is similar to the Shadows of Knight version, fast rockin’ and psychedelic.
And this is really a sweet copy. I grade it VG+ at a minimum. The labels have a slight bit of wear, mainly due to the fact they are solid black! The vinyl is really clean, with just a few small little scuffs. It sounds VG+/NM!!
This is one rare and desirable 45 for serious bidders and collectors!
