THIS RECORD HAS A HAIRLINE CRACK THAT GOES ALL THE WAY THROUGH. I don't know if it can be fixed I have'nt been able to test it since I sold my record player (its broken but not visible until you look extremely close). It's around a 1 1'2 inch long break , no pieces are chiped off. Just a clean crack completely through as if you took a a razor to paper is the best I can describe it.
This was valuable back then and even more now. No, it's not because it was an American hardcore punk band on a major label (A&M). No, it was not because of the breakneck version of the Moody Blues classic. It was because of the cover. Not many people got the pun (nights in white satin - knights in white satin), and so it was quickly pulled from release. The cover was re-released with the band wearing white suits and top hats.
This 7" 1979 single would be considerd VG+ or better beside the crack. The cover is in great shape no hole or tears. The Recored shows very little
sign of use.
I could'nt get a picture of the crack because it's pretty much invisable because of the clean break
