The Doors - Best of The Doors 2LP (Elektra 9 60345-1,1985) Promotional Copy EXC/NM
Album is collector/audiophile grade, cover is VG+. Cover shows below average wear not limited to small top edge front cover cut-out/puncture on left and a TINY ding on the front top right corner. Hype sticker below "doors" top right, and "Pressed on high quality audiophile vinyl" sticker, top left corner. Original Elektra red & Black inner sleeves in Very Good condition. There is also a gold PROMO stamp on the top of the back cover, above Robby Krieger. Pictures are of actual copy, NOT stock photos, and intend to highlight what flaws there may be, NOT to hide them. All pieces sold AS IS so ask any reasonable questions prior to auctions close.
I’m selling the LP collection of a family friend. As one of the original used buyers at Amoeba San Francisco I’m well-suited to trading albums, and the quality of the vinyl condition is something I rarely saw at the buy counter there. The original owner purchased most new and only listened to them a short number of times before recording to reel-to-reel tape. Although well stored over the years, the quality of most covers is in the average to above range. In all but a few cases you will be blown away by the condition of the discs, if medium whelmed by the jackets. As a professional reseller I would place this collection at B+ overall, with the vinyl graded closer to A-/NM. Shipping may be combined on multiple orders.
