Description
Original UK pressing of The Doors - Greatest Hits released in 1980 on Elektra Records (K 52254). Vinyl is graded EX with strong gloss and only light surface marks visible under bright light. The record is housed in the original picture sleeve graded EX with clean edges and bright artwork featuring the red portrait of Jim Morrison. Labels show the Elektra butterfly design and the runout matrices read A-1 and B-1 indicating an early pressing. The album compiles some of the most recognisable recordings by The Doors including Light My Fire, Riders On The Storm, People Are Strange and Break On Through. A strong pressing of this classic compilation and a great introduction to the band featuring Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore.
