THE DOORS - ORIGINAL 1971 "5th RELEASED" LP IS A COVER WITH A  CUT-OUT  WINDOW OF CLEAR ACETATE.
THE DOORS RELEASED THIS ALBUM IN 1971.
THIS 1971 ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING LP IS IN Vg+ TO Ex- CONDITION. THE VINYL IS BRIGHT AND GLOSSY. THERE ARE A COUPLE OF VERY (VERY) LIGHT SCRATCHES THAT DO NOT AFFECT PLAY.
THE LP COVER IS IN Vg+ CONDITION. THE ALBUM CORNERS WERE MANUFACTURED WITH ROUNDAND CORNERS. THE ALBUM COVER EDGES HAVE A LITTLE WEAR BUT STILL SHOW WELL. THE COVER HAS GOOD COLOR AND SHARP GRAPHICS BUT THE FRONT COVER HAS TWO SCUFFS, AND THE BACK COVER HAS SOME SCUFFS ON THE RIGHT SIDE. THE INSIDE GATEFOLD COVER IS CRISP AND COLORFUL WITH NO ISSUES. THERE ARE NO RIPS, TEARS, OR SEAM SPLITS!
THE LP IS GEORGEOUS, BRIGHT AND GLOSSY. PLAYS EXTREMLY WELL. IT IS OVER 54 YEARS OLD!!!
RECORD IS NOW STORED SEPERATELY FROM ALBUM COVER SLEEVE AND ELEKTRA PAPER SLEEVE.

2-color burgundy & black varnish-print sleeve, with radius corners and embossed "Doors" text . The front has a cut-out window with clear acetate, on which the band photo is printed black half-tone. The disc is contained in a yellow radius corner liner, which provides a yellow background to the cover image when inserted into the sleeve. The back of the liner has a black-print 'crucifix' image.

1. This issue has the 'Columbus Circle' address on Sleeve back and Labels.
2. This issue does not have the Warner Bros 'W' imprint on the 'butterfly' labels.
3. This issue is a 'Terre Haute' pressing. See Santa Maria pressing issue
4. Shrink-wrap of the issue may have an over-sticker "Includes the hit single Love Her Madly" [see images].
