Just when you thought Morrison Hotel was epically good the Doors bring out LA Woman...holy fark...these guys are just THE BEST. Landmark release..beats  most other stuff hands down. If you want to hear the best of the best this would be a good place to start.
An original 1st press of LAW on UK Elektra. Matrix A1/B1 - very 1st cut. NO 'made In UK' statement. Nice solid vinyl - this is the REAL DEAL. Look at the labels - notice the claret blush....these are the early Butterfly label copies.  The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with WINDOW - so the yellow inner shows through.. There's also the ORIGINAL super cool inner...So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Often cited as the best way to hear LAW..even beats the US copy!
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Super preservation and has only seen very light use. Excellent lustre,  Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback with only one deviation. Lovey quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A great player throughout. No no no...this copy is A-MAZING...you can look all you like. You won't EVER find a better player for audio. The audio is to die for and this band is at the peak of their creative powers. If you can't get down to this one - you need to check for a pulse! I'm struggling to pick out anything detrimental really.  Clean signal and excellent reproduction - high quality throughout. Transients are perfectly intact. Just some light presence in the opening to L'America. Hyacinth House - very fussy...plays superb. No problem at all. Have you heard Riders Of The Storm - with perfect clean background. That intro is mesmeric if you can hear all the whispering and delicate percussive tapping.... AMAZING! listen to Robbie's slide guitar on 'Down' - it is crazy! 
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition with a very well preserved front. Some wear as is common on the rear as is difficult to avoid.  To be honest it is difficult finding the original cover much better...its probably the way they were designed. But this one is better than many examples. Slight edge wear, but nothing worrisome. Firm openings. Text on the spine is 90% legible with slight wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and has clearly been looked after.
Inner (Ex-) Superb. No ageing. No splits.
