This Rare UK 1st Pressing DOORS Album Was Pressed In Stereo And Is In Excellent Condition
L.A. Woman is the sixth Studio Album by The Doors, and the last recorded with lead singer Jim Morrison, who died in July 1971, less than 3 months after the albums release. Its style is arguably the most Blues Rock-oriented of the band's catalogue.
Early LP editions of the album were uniquely packaged: the album's cover was die-cut to remove a near-rectangular piece of it, with a sheet of transparent plastic on which the cover photo of the Doors was printed, glued in place in its stead. Later pressings featured a conventional cover without the die-cut hole and plastic window, and with the group photo printed on the cover itself. The "SHOREPAK" Cover was produced by Shorewood Packaging Co. Ltd. ENGLAND.

CONDITION
Record: Excellent
Record is in Excellent Condition, As Far As Sound Is Concerned, The Record plays Superbly with No Jumps or Loud Clicks, There is Some Light Crackle in The Silent Parts Between Tracks, But Nothing Else and Nothing Detrimental To The Listening Pleasure, All in all a Superb Playable Record. Visually the Record is Excellent with no marks or scratches, just the lightest of hairlines caused by removal from the sleeve.

Inner Sleeve : Excellent
The Original 1971 Yellow Printed Inner Sleeve In Excellent Condition, With Just A Couple Of Small Wrinkles (Less Than Most 42 Year Olds), There is One Small 4cm Split On The Bottom Edge.
The Yellow Inner Sleeve is Very Thin So The Owner Transferred It To The Sleeve Shown Below Which Is Why It's In Such Superb Condition.

The Original “Window” Sleeve As Most People Will Know Is Very Hard To Find In Descent Condition, This Copy Is As Close To Mint As I’ve Seen, The only issue Being some “Waving” to the Open Edge, Otherwise Superb. See The Pictures Below For More Details.
Having been kept in a Protective Sleeve from New the Corners are Crisp and Sharp.
Spine Is Clear And Undamaged Across It's Entire Length.
Cellophane Is Clear With No Scratches Or Splits, and Remains Firmly Attached.
The Only (Small) Defect Is The "Wave" on The Opening.
ALL IN ALL A SUPERB PACKAGE, CONSIDERING THIS IS 42 YEARS OLD IT IS AMAZING IT HAS SURVIVED IN SUCH EXCELLENT CONDITION, IT IS A CREDIT TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND A GREAT ADVERT FOR PLASTIC PROTECTIVE SLEEVES .
