Rare Original 2016 Limited, Numbered Edition 1st issue set!
NOT the later (2019) RSD reissue.

THIS BOX SHIPPED 11/29/2016 (as printed on Packing label - see PHOTOS).
This was a pre-release shipment to be available in-store, ready to sell for Dec. 16 official release date.

Unique Limited Edition NUMBER may therefor be quite low, but I cannot know without opening the box.
Part of the value and rarity here is that the Shipping Box has NEVER been opened.

NOTE also the "FOG" stippled patches on outer BOX ARTWORK (Black patches around edges).
No later edition had this added effect on the outer packing/shipping box.
All contents untouched, in original packing materials.

Box is still unopened with the original packing tape still sealing it up.
The only flaw to this very well-preserved specimen is a light spot where shipping address Label was removed.
Not torn or peeling; no residue from removed (private) name/address label - just a slight lightened spot.

Issued to coincide with celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Doors' first album, London Fog 1966 was overseen by the band's longtime sound engineer/producer Bruce Botnick, who mastered the audio for the collection, and Nettie Peña, who recorded it back in 1966.
