Description
These albums are used and sold as is. Both are on Elektra.
The Doors--EKS-74007. The vinyl has some scuffs and marks but sounds good. This is the original censored version of the record with "She get--! She get--!" in Break on Through and nary an f-bomb in The End. The jacket shows some wear at the edges and corners, there is a whisper of ring wear, some minor creasing visible in a certain light, and the upper corner of the spine is slightly chewed up. The image is sharp and vibrant. Includes what I think is the original inner sleeve with the Elektra logo all over it, which is in pretty good shape.
The Soft Parade--EKS-75005. The vinyl has some scuffs and marks but sounds good. The gatefold jacket is structurally sound but not suitable for framing--it has ring wear, wear at the edges and corners, and rub wear on some of the darker parts. The tip of the bottom right corner is snipped off. The inside of the gatefold looks good.
These are from my collection. I bought them used, I took good care of them, and they brought me many years of enjoyment. If you are an audiophile or hardcore collector, you might want to look elsewhere. If you are looking for the warm sound of The Doors on vinyl at a bargain price, please consider bidding.
